Vault
Privacy Policy
Effective Date: April 1, 2026
Introduction
Welcome to Vault ("Vault," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you use our mobile, web, and related services. Vault is designed to support private communication, user control, and service safety. By using the service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. We aim to collect only the information reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect users, enforce our rules, respond to reports, and comply with applicable law.
Scope of Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to Vault applications, websites, and related services, including iOS, Android, and web versions, as well as any in-app safety, reporting, blocking, moderation, and support features.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Vault, we may collect the following categories of information: - Account and profile information, such as a username, Member ID, Executive ID, or other information you choose to provide. On the Executive Access website, these identifiers may be used only to validate an existing account or an automatic-renewal cancellation request; that validation does not change the account or its in-app subscription. - User-generated content, including messages, group names, media, reports, block lists, and other content you submit through the service. - Safety and moderation information, such as reports of abusive content, blocked-user records, moderation decisions, and related logs. - Technical and device information, such as device model, operating system, app version, language settings, time zone, crash data, and diagnostic information. - Network and usage information, such as IP address, approximate timestamps, session activity, feature usage, and security-related logs. - Support communications, if you contact us for help, report a problem, or submit a request. We ask users not to share sensitive personal information in public or private content unless it is necessary and they understand the risks of sharing it.
How We Use Information
We may use information we collect to: - Provide, operate, maintain, and improve Vault. - Deliver messaging, group, profile, blocking, and reporting features. - Detect, prevent, and investigate spam, fraud, harassment, abuse, illegal activity, and other harmful behavior. - Review reports, enforce our Terms of Service and Community Rules, and take moderation action when needed. - Troubleshoot bugs, monitor performance, and improve stability and security. - Respond to user inquiries, support requests, and legal requests. - Comply with applicable law, regulation, court order, or lawful government request.
Safety, Reporting, and Moderation
Vault may process user reports, blocked-user records, content metadata, and related account or device information for safety and moderation purposes. When users report or block abusive content or users, we may review relevant content and account activity to investigate the issue, enforce our rules, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users. We may also retain moderation records where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent repeat abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only in limited circumstances, including: - With service providers and infrastructure partners that help us operate, secure, host, analyze, or support the service. - With moderators, administrators, or internal personnel who need access to review reports, enforce rules, or provide support. - When required by law, regulation, legal process, or lawful request from public authorities. - To protect the rights, safety, and security of Vault, our users, or the public. - In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards where required. Third parties are permitted to access information only as needed to perform services for us or as otherwise required by law.
Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. These safeguards may include access controls, authentication measures, encryption in transit, logging, monitoring, and security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for protecting their devices, credentials, and any information they choose to share through the service.
Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain operations, protect users, investigate abuse, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable law. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the nature of the request or report, legal requirements, and operational necessity. When information is no longer needed, we will delete it or de-identify it where reasonably practicable.
Third-Party Services
Vault may use third-party service providers for hosting, analytics, crash reporting, customer support, security, content delivery, or other operational functions. These providers may process information on our behalf subject to contractual, technical, or legal safeguards. You should also review the privacy policies of any third-party services that are specifically integrated into the app, where applicable.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our web services may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, improve performance, maintain security, and understand service usage. We do not use these technologies to provide unrelated third-party behavioral advertising unless clearly disclosed separately.
Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights regarding your information, such as the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability where available. You may also be able to manage certain information directly within the app, such as blocking users. To make a privacy or data request, please contact us using the contact details listed below. We may need to verify your request before taking action.
Age Requirement and Children’s Privacy
Vault is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Users must be at least 18 years old to use the service. We do not knowingly allow children under 18 to use the service. If we learn that a child under 18 has provided information or used the service in violation of this policy, we may block or remove the account and take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, website, or other appropriate means. Your continued use of Vault after the updated policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the revised Privacy Policy.
